​I graduated for the University of Liverpool in 1999. After a brief spell working in London, I joined a family run firm of Independent Financial Adviser in Leeds. This firm was sold in 2004 and I quickly realised that the big ‘corporate’ world was not for me.

I established E L Watson Financial Planning Ltd in 2005 along with two colleagues. The business grew over the years but so did the administration burden of running a financial services business. In 2019, I decided to sell E L Watson Financial Planning Ltd to the current owners. I then spent 4 and a half years transitioning my clients across to other advisers in the business to allow me to spend more time developing my other business interests. 

 

I will remain involved with the business, but no longer as a financial adviser. I’m available to my colleagues for the occasions that my input might be useful.
