After leaving Leeds Girls High School I completed a Diploma course in Business Studies, leading on to me eventually joining Legal and General Assurance as a sales support assistant, only moving from here when I got married and had a family.

Flexibility was key at the time so I established my own financial advisory business along with a colleague in 1980. The business flourished, however after 6 years I was lured away by an Insurance Company and joined Aetna in 1986. Other companies followed including 10 years with Aegon Scottish Equitable as a Senior Broker Consultant. These formed the basis of my career and many happy days right up until 2004.
By this time I was ready for a change and wanted to go back to a more "hands on" involvement with clients. I joined PJG Financial Services in 2004, becoming a Director in 2006. It was important to me that my advice was of a high calibre and I therefore moved steadily through more exams moving up from Diploma status, through to Chartered Financial Planner status and on to Fellowship.

I joined the team at PWH in March 2014 in order to develop my own client base. I had known Jonathan and Russell for many years and after meeting the rest of the team I knew that this would be a very positive move for me - only a mile from home as well!

In the little spare time I seem to have I still enjoy socialising with family and friends. My constant aim to ‘get fit’ so far has not been influenced by the energetic E L Watson team - but I live in hope!
